Phindavele High School is a school situated in the rural community of Dududu, 65km south of Durban, KwaZulu Natal. The school has grades 8 -12, with the capacity to take on 950 learners. Being in a rural community has it's challenges and one of them is that we are surrounded by the poorest of the poor, thus the government has rendered us as a non school fee paying school. We have been assisted by the national schools nutrition programme to keep our leaners fed during school hours. We also have various initiatives for our school and leaners.
We are passionate about serving our community and we have managed to improve our pass rate over the years, in 2018 we achieved a passrate of 87% with 53 matriculants. This year we seek to improve that number.
